The cottage for the Vlasic Family in Lyndon, Michigan is set in a picturesque plot of land adjacent to a nature preserve. The owner’s decision to have the cottage constructed with a timber frame informed the rustic feel of the finished design.
I helped bring the project from schematic design, though design development, and into construction documents. My work included coordinating with consultants, specification writing, and shop drawing review of both the timber frame and the structural insulated panels.
